The ski resort, west to Saint-Sauveur is offering 35 trails, 4 lifts, one magic carpet. We were there one Sunday morning to allow our kids to improve their ski proficiency. Looks like this ski resort is known for beginner and intermediate levels as there were many kids lessons taking place and there were long queues at the ski lifts.
The parking is free, not very big. It is relatively far from the lifts or the main building.
The magic carpet area was groomed in a curvy way to practice turns. I was worried to let my young daughter ski downhill on her own as the short trail was not obvious how to ski on it. Some part of the kids’ area was blocked for the public as it was reserved for the ski schools.
There is an indoor Griffon playroom (we did not see it the day we visited) it is free for season pass holders and for visitors buying a full day lift ticket at regular price.
Black trails number 18A and 18B are specially groomed snowpark trails for acrobatic skiers where jumps are artificially created. My 5 years old enjoyed it very much.
My husband took to the opportunity to do cross country ski over lunch, very close to the Morin Heights ski area – only 2 minutes by car from the ski parking. This place offers cross country and snowshoeing trails at extra cost. It is considered one of the ten nicest trails in the province of Quebec.
