Ben and Jerry Factory Visit and Cold Hollow Cider Mill

If you are in the area of Waterbury or Stowe in Vermont head for this cute factory visit. You can spend there about an hour/hour and a half. The 30 minutes guided factory tour includes a 7 minutes video about the history of the company, explanation about the production stages and an ice cream tasting. The venue also has a full scoop shop, a gift shop and an outdoor playground.

Ben & Jerry Factory Visit

I would not drive for this factory especially from far but if you are in the area and looking for a fun hour, hour and a half, this is the place to go. The tour leaves at least every 30 minutes in small groups.

7 minutes by car nearby the factory is a nice big shop of Cold Hollow Cider Mill which is worth combining with the Ben & Jerry visit. This shop offers Vermont produce (apple cider, maple syrup, jams, cider donuts) and branded Vermont merchandising. In front of the shop is a small and very tasty simple restaurant (the Barn) along with a tasting room for a local Vermont winery.
