Ski Mont Sainte Anne

The best ski area for beginners we have yet to come across. The bunny hill located at the base of the mountain offers two adjacent magic carpets – the one on the right for very beginners with a tiny slope and the one on the left with a steeper hill, but moderately easy for young kids who are learning to ski for the first time.

Mont Sainte Anne

The mountain is part of the Laurentian mountain chain and the elevation of the summit is at 800 meters above sea level. The ski station offers 71 trails, 8 lifts in total (check the website to confirm which trails and lifts are open before your visit and also see webcams to check snow condition).

The bunny hill is located at the entrance near the parking, in front of the cafeteria, near the ski school which offers daycare for kids and a playground. There are two lifts to go up the mountain (from the base of the Southside); an open gondola and a cable car. There is also an ice rink nearby.

This part of the mountain is the South Side of the mountain. The other side of the mountain is the North Side. If you decide to take the cable car up the mountain, at 800 meters there are beautiful views of the St Lawrence River. There is a ‘La Familiale’ green path to go down the mountain which is suitable for young families.
